Combining Yoga, Tai Chi and Pilates, the Les Mills BODYBALANCE™ will build you flexibility and core strength with the result of you feeling calm, centered and happy.
The class takes you through a series of stretches, moves and poses using controlled breathing while listening to an inspired soundtrack.
Suitable as an introduction for Yoga beginners or to introduce the experienced to a new variety.
New BODYBALANCE™ classes are released every three months and include new music and choreography.
A typical class…
Your class start with 45 minutes of simple but challenging exercises, followed by 10 minutes of relaxation and meditation.
Classes begin with some easy flowing Tai Chi moves to help you leave your day behind, center yourself and warm your body.
Yoga & Pilates
Then you perform various yoga and pilates sequences to strengthen and tone your key muscle groups. Poses and stretches are used to create suppleness and flexibility.
The final 10 minutes are set aside for the widely acknowledged mental and physiological benefits of meditation which also enhances the effects of the exercise.
