Currently on maternity leave with baby #2!
I had a very active childhood & teenage years, which involved sailing, swimming, netball, volleyball, surfing, triathlons & rowing.
After recovering from Thyroid Cancer at age 20, I began to appreciate and take my health & fitness more seriously, developing a fascination with the human body. A career behind a desk as a Graphic Designer left me restless & unsatisfied. I joined a gym for the extra exercise & motivation, and quickly decided to follow my passion & pursue a career in fitness to help people feel as good as I do!
I am so excited to be given the opportunity to help other people gain confidence, energy and wellbeing by being a positive and motivating influence. There is nothing more satisfying to me than seeing the glow in someone when they achieve their goals!
When not training/working I love to:
Spend time with my hubby & 3yo girl! I also love the outdoors & beach, walking, eating out, travelling and cooking.
My favourite would have to be a really good steak!
Favourite exercise/type of exercise:
I love love love squats & Lunges, they do wonders for your abs, bum & legs! I also love playing most social team sports & anything to do with water.
My main goals for the year:
I aim to run the 12 km City to Bay in September, the first decent run since having my first baby! I also plan to always continue learning, including furthering my qualification in pre & post natal training.
