The fitness industry was a sea change for me (and a fairly late in life one). Through my 20’s I was a bit of a gym junkie (and yes we really did wear the leotards on the outside with the g string showing haha) whilst working in London. Moving to Adelaide when I was 30 I continued with the gym but once I had a baby I stopped going. Then in my mid 40’s I had my sea change, got my Certificate IV in Fitness (Personal Training), got my favourite exercise certification (SA Callanetics*) and here I am today.
When I’m not working I like to:
Hang out with my girlfriends drinking coffee. I love to travel and have been to a fair few places. I also love to read and watch documentaries (how much do I love IView and SBS on Demand? Answer = a lot, I love it a lot). My favourite food is pasta carbonara (home made version is way better than any restaurant with the exception of restaurants in France).
My favourite exercise:
Twisty Legs – ask me about it when you see me in the gym – I’ll happily put you through that torture that firms and tones your bottom. My specialty is SA Callanetics*, my passion. Try one of my classes, dare you.
Main goal this year:
To teach as many SA Callanetics* Classes a week as I can!
My favourite quote:
“Whether you think you can or you think you can’t – You’re Right”!”
