Meet Anastasia

What do you do at Satori?:  Personal Trainer, Group Fitness Instructor and Dietitian.

Background: Born in Adelaide and growing up in a Greek family, I have always had a strong passion and love for food, exercise and health. I completed my certificate IV in Fitness in 2017 after high school, and went on to study a bachelor of Human Nutrition at Flinders University for 3 years. During University, I worked outdoors as a women’s group fitness instructor where I grew my strength and confidence as a trainer and got to meet so many amazing people! After my undergraduate studies, I studied a Master of Nutrition & Dietetics which I graduated from in 2022. I have always been interested in intertwining my knowledge for nutrition and exercise to help people live a happy and balanced life!

Favourite food: Chicken parmi, hot chips, and anything that is savoury and salty!

Fave exercise: At the gym I love training with heavy weights and pushing my strength - my favourite exercises are shoulder press, deadlifts and hips thrusters. You won’t see me training cardio very often!

Hobbies: In my spare time I enjoy pole dancing which I have done for 4 years, working on tricks up the pole and dancing in 8 inch heels! When I am not at Satori, the gym or the pole studio I love spending time watching movies, delving into crime documentaries and hanging out with family/friends.
